Westhoughton Mark get a boost.

At their latest meeting Westhoughton Mark had the great pleasure of advancing a new candidate, John Breakwell of Chorley Lodge No 6297, well known as the Group Publicity Officer in the Craft. John was proposed by W.Bro. Peter Hegarty and seconded by Bro Gary Fisher.

However, the membership will be boosted greatly later this year with three more candidate to be advanced in the Lodge, requiring an extra meeting to accommodate the ceremonies, one a double and then a special meeting for the third candidate.
John was very ably advanced by Worshipful Master, Stuart Wilson assisted by Senior Warden, Gary Fisher and Junior Warden John Hesketh. John Dutchman-Smith and Peter Coates stood in as Junior and Senior Overseer’s respectively.

W.Bro. Ray Dainton, as usual, accompanied every part of the evening on the organ in his own impeccable style to everyone’s enjoyment.
